First of all, Canva is great for people with the time and skills to assemble something that has the potential to look great. Design Assistant has some similar goals, but for people with no time or design skills to create something that looks just as good.
The Design Assistant [DA] offers a simple form based interface, while Canva [C] provides a traditional drag and drop design interface.
DA is geared toward the multi-family industry, while C is universal (but we know multi-family is not universal).
Both tools provide some brand automation, however, I think we do it better.
